§ 250-6. Use of private systems.

Where the liquid wastes from any plumbing system are not discharged into a public sewer, such wastes shall be treated or disposed of in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Westchester County Board of Health, and a certificate of compliance shall be filed with the inspector before a final certificate of inspection is issued by the inspector. No building shall be occupied before a final certificate is issued by the Building Inspector. All private sanitary disposal systems shall be kept in good repair and shall be kept from overflowing or polluting the adjacent area.
